Who This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy explains how ContentSpy collects, uses, shares, and protects information when people visit our website, join the waitlist, create an account, use the product, or contact us.

Information We Collect

• -Account and waitlist information, including name, email address, invite token status, authentication identifiers, and account settings.
• -Workspace content that you or your team add to ContentSpy, including niches, competitors, content plans, ideas, scripts, brand/style preferences, campaigns, lead magnets, and related notes.
• -Content intelligence data, including public creator/channel URLs, public post or video metadata, transcripts or captions where available, comments that you submit or import, author handles, profile URLs, performance metrics, and AI-generated analysis.
• -Usage, device, and security data, including product events, approximate location from IP address, browser/device details, log data, diagnostic data, fraud-prevention signals, and error reports.
• -Payment and subscription information processed through Stripe. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers on our own servers.
• -Support communications and feedback that you send to us.

How We Use Information

• -Provide, secure, operate, debug, and improve ContentSpy.
• -Authenticate users, administer accounts, manage invites, process waitlist requests, and provide support.
• -Analyze content, detect patterns, score audience comments for buying intent, generate ideas/scripts, and personalize recommendations.
• -Process subscriptions, enforce plan limits, send transactional messages, and prevent abuse or fraud.
• -Measure product usage and reliability, including through privacy-conscious analytics and error monitoring.
• -Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, and protect the rights, safety, and security of ContentSpy, users, and others.

AI Processing

ContentSpy uses AI providers to analyze inputs and generate recommendations, drafts, scores, summaries, and other outputs. AI outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using them, especially before contacting people, publishing content, or making business decisions.

How We Share Information

• -Service providers that help run the product, such as Supabase, Stripe, PostHog, Sentry, Cloudflare Turnstile, Google/YouTube APIs, Apify, OpenAI, OpenRouter-compatible AI providers, hosting providers, and email/support tools.
• -Other users in your workspace, if the product feature or your settings allow shared access.
• -Third parties when you direct us to share information or connect an integration.
• -Legal, safety, compliance, or business-transfer recipients when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our Terms, prevent harm, or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Your Choices And Rights

• -You can update account information in the product where settings are available.
• -You can request access, correction, deletion, export, restriction, or objection by contacting privacy@contentspy.me. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
• -California residents may have rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit sensitive personal information, and avoid discrimination for exercising privacy rights. ContentSpy does not knowingly sell personal information.
• -EU, UK, and Canadian users may have rights related to access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, and complaints to a privacy regulator.
• -You can opt out of non-essential analytics on the Cookie Policy page or by using privacy controls in your browser where available.

Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required for legal, tax, accounting, security, dispute-resolution, or abuse-prevention reasons. Until self-serve deletion/export is available everywhere in the product, privacy requests may be handled manually through privacy@contentspy.me.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so you should use strong passwords, protect your account credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

Children

ContentSpy is not directed to children under 13 and should not be used to knowingly collect information from children. Do not import child-directed audience data or children's personal information into ContentSpy.

International Transfers

ContentSpy and its providers may process information in the United States, Canada, Europe, or other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws than where you live.
